The Complete Idiot's Guide to Computer Basics, 3E ReviewUsers of this book should ignore part of it's title regarding the "complete idiot." It has very useful tips for the average computer user as well. It packs a lot of information into 383 pages and has a good glossary and index. However, it would have made a great book had the publisher considered colorful graphics and reader-friendly font types! The Complete Idiot's Guide to Computer Basics, 3E Overview

Windows® 7 Step by Step (Step By Step (Microsoft)) ReviewWindows 7 Step by step is what I bought for my sister. She's a novice PC user and wanted some help with using the newest Windows. Out of all the ones I read through at Borders this was the best for beginners and basics. If you are looking for a beginner book, probably a good choice but really will want to get a more advanced one to actually learn Windows 7. The more advanced one I like best is Windows 7: The Definitive Guide: The Essential Resource for Professionals and Power Users.Windows® 7 Step by Step (Step By Step (Microsoft)) Overview
