I've bought other books on After Effects from Amazon and returned one of them because it was quite bad! The Bible is first and foremost huge and comprehensive. It covers topics like Motion Math in detail I have not seen anywhere else. Same with Expressions and Keys! The tutorials are numerous and every function is explained via a tutotial or another. Great Book! Anime Studio 6: The Official Guide ReviewI'm actually using Anime Studio 7 but there was apparently no book available for that version. Although it's sad that there's no way to know what's changed in version 7, I've gotten about half way through the book and have found that the book applies quite well to version 7 as far as the overall operation and use of the program. The included disc has example files for each chapter and the hands on approach to working the examples is a great way to learn. Until a version 7 book arrives this is probably going to be the best book available for learning this program.Anime Studio 6: The Official Guide Overview

Adobe After Effects CS5 Digital Classroom, (Book and Video Training) ReviewFull disclosure: I know Jerron Smith, he's been a colleague of mine in the past and I like the guy.
Now, that aside, I can still say that I highly recommend his book. There are a number of After Effects books on the market, and many that present themselves as all you need to know t get started with After Effects. This book does this more effectively, in a an attractive well-presented series of ten valuable lessons. Contained within these is a robust training course in a software package that has strong user base that is growing.
