The Fundamentals of SolidWorks 2008 ReviewAfter working with VEX robots and CO2 cars for 2 years in summer camp, I decided to switch from Autocad to SolidWorks and add some 3D CAD to my program. This book is a great help introducing students to 3D modeling. Students just love the SolidWorks and they can follow the book with little intervention from me. This is a life saver when you have 30 plus students in a class.
The best part of the book is all the model files of the VEXplorer, VEX Starter Kit, and F1 in Schools car assembly. These models are great time savers and really get kids excited about learning. But don't tell them that they are learning, just having fun...
