Digital Macro and Close-Up Photography For Dummies ReviewDigital Macro & Close-Up Photography is a great book for learning how to capture close-up shots with your digital camera. I honestly can't think of anything this book leaves out when it comes to this subject. Everything from the correct equipment to shooting techniques is covered in easy to understand detail. Another great thing about this book is that it is full of color photographs that the reader can use for examples. I found these full-color examples and technique comparisons were really helpful in understanding the authors points.
Thomas Clark also reviews many macro lenses and other equipment to help the reader make an informed decision when it comes to buying the right equipment for macro photography. I will not list all of the specific chapters and topics since you have the ability to see the table of contents for the book on this very page. I will simply say that this book really helps the reader understand different macro photography techniques, something that most basic photography books neglect to cover.
I am merely an amateur photographer, so I will not attempt to get technical in this review. What I will say, is that from the point of view from someone with little experience and knowledge in this field, I found this book easy to understand and very helpful. I think that it is a great book which covers the subject in such a way that even the layman like myself can understand and grasp the concepts that the author explains in this book. Well organized and extremely helpful!! 5 Stars!
